School Life Students enjoying a quite moment during the School day

When you're at Millfield, you can expect to be doing things all the time, whether it's having lessons, playing sport, or just hanging around with your friends. So much goes on each day, it's amazing that we fit it all in!

We get half-days on Wednesday and Saturday, this means we have 5 lessons instead of the normal seven or eight. This is so that the afternoon can be dedicated to sport, normal practice or matches against other schools.

The breaks that we have for lunch and after school are massive, so if you don't have sport or MAP then you're free to do what you like. You can go and play some recreational sport, go into Street, work in the library, sit in the tuck shop or the sixth form club - whatever you like really!

Most of us feel that the school day is laid out just right, you get enough breaks, the right amount of lessons, and enough time to enjoy yourself, which is the most important thing.
