The School shop is the 'life support centre' for us students. It provides everything you might need for boarding life - clothes, footwear and a full range of sports goods, even toothbrushes and soap. Not only that, it also stocks stationery for the school day.
There are two ways of buying things from the school shop, the first is by cash, the second is by getting a school shop chit signed by your houseparent, if you're in the 6th form you can write your own chits, but watch out, there is a £30 per day limit. The school shop chit enables you to buy goods without the need for cash and, instead, puts the cost on your parents' bill at the end of each term. A bill that some students (and parents) dread!
The school shop can be found by turning left just inside the entrance near the Meyer Theatre. It's open Monday to Friday - 8.30am - 4.30pm, and Saturdays from 8.15am - 1.15pm.
Whatever you're in need of through your time at Millfield, you can be pretty sure that the school shop will stock it!! (If not you can go to Street).
